Kyorinsha, which has been providing journal consulting services under the ‘Seekl’ brand and has long offered new site configurations, existing site modifications, and customer support for Japanese customers of the manuscript submission and peer review system ‘ScholarOne Manuscripts’ (S1M) as its sales agent in Japan, is now launching Tech Hub services for S1M customers in the APAC region by strengthening its partnership with Silverchair, the system provider of S1M.
This initiative addresses the time zone challenges between the U.S. and APAC regions, allowing new S1M customers in APAC to receive training during their working hours from Kyorinsha staff who configured their sites. Additionally, it will streamline the turnaround time for configuration changes for existing APAC customers by directing their requests to Kyorinsha, which operates in a similar time zone, rather than to Silverchair in the U.S., thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.
